E series docking station issues with Linux

Netrunner i did a reinstall and all is fine as there were some issues while installing packages i hadnt spotted. I had installed Rosa r10 on my USFF and decided to pull the drive and try it on the e6400. Previously Rosa wouldnt work but guess what happened, its working fine on the E dock so really cant explain why.
That increases the distros I can use with the E dock to, Rosa, OpenMandriva 3.03,Netrunner Idolon , Kubuntu 18.04,Mint 19 Cinnamon,Zorin 12.4 and Neptune 5.5.

Recent 18.04 version of KDE Neon did not work with the E series dock even though Kubuntu 18.04 works fine. Not sure what the differenc is but for now Ill stick to Kubuntu or other distros.

Gecko 150 which is nothing but a perked version of OpenSUSE 15 leap works great with the E series dock. Strangely the livecd had issues but I was able to install and the finished product runs with no issues.

OpenSUSE 15 works fine with one oddity. The installation disk wouldnt run while attached to the dock. Installed it off the dock, reattached and it works like a charm. All features supported. Gecko the clone of this distro installed fine while attached to the dock.

Mageia 6.1 works with the e series dock with no issues. Previously Mageia 6 wouldnt work at all with the dock.

Got tired of the limitations and decided to stop using the E Dock. I wanted to run other distros and it simply wasnt to be.

Im back on the dock and going to test more distros as a few that worked after updates, no longer work. Im typing on Kubuntu 18.04.

Just installed Netrunner 19.01 and it doesnt work with the dock.

Gave up on the dock as its too limiting. So few distros work well or at all, you get tired of missing out on trying some distros.

Retried the most recent version of Neon with KDE 5.14.5 and it still wont run on the dock. Kubuntu continues to work though so Im clueless as to why.
