I THINK this was the laptop I was trying to find at a decent price for a while. Looked really nice, but there were VERY few retailers that actually had it in stock, and it was a bit overpriced at the ones that did.

My issue with this laptop is the lightweight plastic body that flexes with finger pressure.

Given the MSRP, that's not that surprising. I had wanted it because it's the slightly faster Apollo Lake N4200. However, in the end, I couldn't find it (the US version) under $300, whereas the Acer I eventually went with (which is also a cheap plastic body) I could easily find under $250, and got mine (review unit so used for a week or 2) for just under $200. The SSD instead of eMMC IMO wasn't worth $100 more.

Ive had a lot of issues with certain laptops and cheap cases so I avoid anything designed like that. id rather go used and find something thats made better.

I buy a lot of the ones that have the plastic cases since I like to try the less expensive models, and haven't had too many issues. Other than one model of HP that was an oddity (as I have had MANY HP's with cheap plastic cases) I've never really had issues with the el cheapo cases as most of them use such low powered cpu's that it doesn't adversely affect them.

I use laptops in a tougher environment than you do so cheap plastic cases have some issues for me. My D430s for instance have been beaten up a bit but have hung in their nicely.
