I am. If it allows them to reduce the cost of their systems I think it will be a HUGE win. While I like their systems, they were simply too expensive IMO to ever consider actually BUYING. I could get a pretty much identically spec'd Dell system that included a Win10 license (making it easier to sell if/when I decided to do so) for about 80% the cost of a System76. While I am all for supporting linux vendors, I'm not going to pay a premium just to support a linux vendor. If it's not competitively priced, just like I won't buy a Windows system that's overpriced, and I've never purchased an Apple anything because they're overpriced, I won't purchase a linux laptop that's overpriced.

Thats what Im hoping. Better prices and better visibility to jump start mainstream Linux hardware.
