Came across the VisionFive Single Board Computer yesterday. Here is a link to the manual <https://rvspace.org/en/Product/VisionFi ... tart_Guide>
I watched a YouTube video about it. It has a dual core RISC V processor, in a Raspberry Pi layout. It has 8GB or RAM and a nice selection of port. It needs a USB C 5V 3A power supply. There is a kit available for $179, which includes everything needed to get going if you have nothing. There is a nicely configured Fedora Linux for it that uses the XFCE desktop.
There was some interest here in the RISCV, and this is the first I noticed a fully fleshed out computer ready to go. The YouTube video <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PoWAsBOsFs> shows it in operation. OpenSource Hardware and OpenSource software, what's not to like.

Re: RISC V SBC
Yeah, I really want Risc V to move forward. I'd love to be able to start using Risc V boards that are sufficient enough to actually BE a full system (4+ cores at least). At least this has 8GB ram, so it's better than the early Rasberry Pi's IMO.

Re: RISC V SBC
Intel invested $1 billion in the Risc-V foundry ecosystem.. It appears they are going to move heavily in that direction.
