Dell Latitude 7270 laptop
Dropped off today and what a nice laptop it is. It is essentially a mini- 7470 with a 12.5 inch display. Unit came from an office and was in excellent condition with a 256gb SSD and 2 4gb ddr4. I had some issues with the Win10 install and eventually the system couldnt see the drive at all. I opened it up, added 8gb of ram and swapped out the SSD for another 256gb I had and its up and running just fine. Ive got a 512gb SSD coming and will copy over the install. Screen was larger than I expected in use and very light. Ill report back once I use it a bit more.

Not sure what the issue was with the SSD as I couldnt even repair the drive and it did boot at one point. It was originally using UEFI/Raid but when I went to my backup SSD I switched it to Legacy/AHCI and everything was fine.

Have you tried doing a secure erase on the shipping SSD just to see if it can be restored to usability in something else?

Secure erase didnt work as it appears this drive may have a functional issue.

Thankfully it happened to a drive that came with the laptop rather than one I paid for directly. First M2 SSD Ive had that failed.
