Thats nuts! Dell sometimes requires previous bios updates before you can use the most current one.

Re: Razer RZ09 02386
Yeah, that was what I was getting confused with. I downloaded file v1.0.8, and Bios v1.08 is the latest. So I must have the lastest bios...but the 1.0.8 file flashes bios v1.05...so I DON'T have the latest bios. So I had to find the file that flashes Bios 1.08, which the file is titled 1.1.1. Got a little confusing with the not in any way relevant to the version of bios it seems to contain file version numbers. Just a little warning for anyone who may happen to purchase a razer. Also I haven't found a way to flash from linux, I had to swap the SSD with a spare NVMe I have and install Windows.

Dell isnt perfect either and many times I have to use small drives with Windows to install a new bios update. I havent found a way to flash from Linux either.

Your 20's don't have the boot option to flash bios update? I thought that's when they started it...crosscourt wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2020 11:35 pm Dell isnt perfect either and many times I have to use small drives with Windows to install a new bios update. That's odd, I've never had that option not work for me on a latitude.
