Well, several of us work(ed) in the industry so it's kinda part of our daily lives to keep up on this stuff.

I was running a lot of much older hardware so had a lot of experience with distro issues, but these days Im running mostly somewhat newer systems.

Geforce 6150 LE shouldnt be an issue as I had a Geforce 5200 that ran with the 4.19 kernel with no issues. Run the MX19 beta 3 live dvd and see what happens.
I use to have two laptops with similar specs and both ran fine with newer kernels.

I don't see any reason why Mx19 wouldn't work fine on that system, I have a Pavillion dv5 (or 6?? can't remember without digging it out) but it has amd gpu and although it isn't the quickest of machines it ran Debian Buster without issue.

Ok...I'll download MX 19 beta 3 and report back. It may be a few days. I think it was just that glitch that I posted the link to about MX 18 ... Thanks for all your input..!

Glad to hear it working. 2006 isnt a bad year but once you get to pre 2005 it gets a bit more interesting.

I never imagined that MXLinux would become as popular as it is.
