Printer Ink Levels

I BELIEVE that's actually the same family as my printer (1415), which absolutely has no issues monitoring levels.

After installing and rebooting, it is showing the ink levels on my HP 1510....however it is not showing any ink levels on my older HP 952C ...it says "Supplies information not available for this device"..

952c isnt current enough as my older HP 800 series doesnt work either.

As a side note...this function isn't very reliable; the printer refill light is on for the black cartridge,and it isn't printing correctly,yet the Supplies column shows 1/2 full,and Good/Ok.....

That can happen if youre not using HP printer cartridges versus third party ones.

These are original HP cartridges. I gave up trying to refill old ones..you might get one refill out of them before they start to malfunction. I just buy refurbished ones... however,these were the original ones that came with the printer.

Must be a software issue as most of the time the software tells you youre out but it continues to print just fine.

Is there any way to fix it..?

Not sure as tlmiller and myself also have newer HP printers and arent having any issues with it.
