I just need to copy, print and scan....faxing went out with Xp....why we're still using it is beyond me...
Re: Printer Ink Levels
Agreed there, although at work we do have a single analog line hooked up for faxing. Here at the house, the fax function isn't enabled, and I don't have a line for it. But given it's all software fax nowadays, it's a "no-cost" add-on to the machines, so those who still use it can get it, and it doesn't actually affect the price of manufacturing beyond like $5 for the hardware interface, so it continues to be part of the machines.

Doctors office still use it since they tell me if can't be "hacked"....I told the office girl that's why you need to keep doing office work...and not I.T. work... She told me to go fax myself...

We still use fax in our office but on a limited basis. Most of our vendors still use it as well.
