Honestly I'm kinda surprised by how badly it does. THE UX305FA wasn't a high end laptop when it was new, and it's a 5th generation CoreM (4.5-watt Broadwell), and the fact that it can beat the quad core gemini refresh doesn't exactly speak very highly of either the gemini lake refresh, OR of their implementation. My Chromebook uses the cpu that replaced the Core M 5Y71 (Core M7-6Y75), and the UX305FA is using the SLOWEST of the Core M's (5Y10), although difference is pretty small, since they're identical other than max boost velocity, and I'm moderately certain that my Core m7 would significantly crush it. And that's not all that impressive, while my m7 is quite adequate for day to day, it's definitely NOT very powerful at all.
Still, as discussed earlier, for what it's intended purpose is, still adequate. But I probably wouldn't be willing to spend the money on it.

For the average user its not a bad value but MSI has some products that can be upgraded at a much higher price.

You have to copy the links from the bottom of the article where you can go to the other weeks. For whatever reason the URL bar won't work.

Re: AWOW AK41 mini desktop pc running Linux
Ive had issues with this site and others like Anandtech with certain articles. It happens only at times as I post quite a few articles from linuxlinks.com. I usually check back and repost if the problem has cleared up. Its an on again, off again issue but no biggie.
