At the least you need the latest version of the 4.4, 4.9 or 4.14 kernel and either an updated bios or microcode. Browsers will need to be updated as well as a few other apps and most of these appear to have been done already in the various distros I use.

This Arch based distro, has become the 1/2 ranked distro in all categories over at www.distrowatch.com passing Debian and Mint which is no small feat.

Its based on OpenSUSE and offers many extras you wont get with its parent. It also offers a static and rolling release with live image sizes around 1gb.
