Re: Anarchy Linux

Im talking newbies and beginners who I would never suggest to them Arch as their first experience. Q4OS has done well as we offer 20 distros as demos, but Mint, MX Linux 17, Lubuntu,PCLinuxOS and Q4OS have been the most popular. Re: Anarchy Linux

Manjaro Im going to test here shortly but i dont deal with Arch much as most of the people I work with who want to use Linux want something good out of the box with good support.

Re: GalliumOS

Im just the opposite as I almost never carry or use a laptop. Ive got one in my office at work and use one when working with clients but i tend to be on desktops most of the time. My USFF Dell Optiplex 7010 though I carry around the house and attach to my tvs and monitors for use.

Re: I'm loving having a 11 TB NAS...

Thats the way it is with me as ive not gotten close to needing a TB. Ive had raid with 2 and 4 500gb drives but even that wasnt used enough so i repurposed the drives.

If I had time though between games, testing, Windows, Linux and other projects Im sure I could fill it up pretty well.

Re: Top 6 open source desktop email clients

I also hate Kmail but am surprised how many people like it. Evolution is really nice but yes more than i need. Thunderbird continues to be the best blend of features for most users.
