Still waiting for my ram and USB hard drive adapter to finish upgrading my laptop. The weather issues slowed things down a lot.

It was released yesterday and I have it running with Win10 but havent checked any of my Linux distros yet.

Decided to see if enabling the testing repo would work as it has worked well with other distros and Netrunner as well in the past. This time around it didnt go well. Enabling testing gets you a boot with significant problems and frankly not worth bothering with.

They at least may be able to discover living processes even if they dont find an organism remnant.

Installed it last night and the GUI is really nice looking. Resource usage was 567mb at GUI. Installer was Calamares and synaptic and update manager used by Mint are there as well. Really nice distro that offers a great experience with some nice features and updated software.

Im hoping to see some trace of a past organism this time around.

Im going to be using the laptop for some projects so after looking at the resource usage, it appeared 16gb was the better choice.

Same here, I havent heard of any of these.

Just picked up some Hynix dd4 2400 ram 2x8gb for $50 to add to the system. Its using one 8gb stick now which is also Hynix that Ill keep as a backup.
