Re: LibreOffice 24.2 is here

I'm right there with you, CC, I actually think I'll remove it from my computers. What's the point of having something on your computer if you're not going to use it..? I have only office, on my home computer, and on my shop computer. I also have free office on my shop computer, but, I really h...

Re: Electrolysis Rust Removal

If I was de-rusting something big, electrolysis might be the way to go. I would have to buy a manual battery charger, something in the 50 amp range, since I would want to do it faster, and build a tank, and all the other nonsense that goes with it. If I just go with Evaporust, you buy a gallon, pour...

Star Trek Discovery

This is the final season of STD. I watched the first 2 episodes and it was quite good. I'm hoping that they do Star Trek Legacy, but, so far, it hasn't been green lighted. I think it would do very well, since the fan base has been hounding Paramount to do it.

Re: Electrolysis Rust Removal

After weighing what I might be de-rusting, I think for me,the best option is Evapo-rust. I would put the item in a pan and just let it soak, for a week. That's the cheapest and easiest way out for me. :geek:

Re: LibreOffice 24.2 is here

I use Free Office also. I just don't like the way LibreOffice works. Perhaps I should watch a tutorial on it, but, FreeOffice works for my needs.

Re: Electrolysis Rust Removal

From all that I watched, and I've also watched comparison videos of electrolysis vs. chemicals, the electrolysis cleanses better, and is cheaper, and more eco friendly. My question is,should the dc power supply be able to produce more amperage...? Is higher amperage what you need to do the job quicke...

Re: Chainsaw repair

So, being that I was looking for a case for this chainsaw, I went on Ebay and started looking. I found a case, that looked brand new, but, it had the same saw with it, for sale. The seller was asking only $35 plus $20 for shipping. I really didn't want another saw(I already have 2) but, the price was...
