Xandros in the day was amazing and had excellent hardware support but it wasnt free but very cheap to use. Many distros were sold in stores like Best Buy in those days but I agree, in my case it was Mepis but stability was excellent. Ive used DOS all the way thru to Win7 and still have DOS installed...

They are paying very well in my area and its attracting a lot of people because of it. Didnt realize you hated DST that much as I hate standard time and would like to stay in DST all the time if I could.

I wont be running new systems probably ever again. Combination of lack of cash and the fact that the performance of the older systems for the cost is simply amazing. My Ivy Bridge systems exceed my expectations for what I use them for so really happy right now.
